Summertime in Summerlin is busy, and it is starting early this Spring. The Summerlin market is hot! With 614 active properties currently on the market for sale, there are 257 properties listed under the contingent (under contract to be sold) status, and 165 properties that closed/sold last month. These numbers indicate a hot market with it really ramping up; and big increases are expected with multiple offers currently being reviewed on properties for sale in Summerlin and the nearby areas. With a high demand, this makes the listing period before the home goes into contract a short time on the market and competitive for buyers. This is great news for home owners considering selling their home and sellers currently on the market. Mortgage rates experienced very little movement
during the past week, remaining near the best levels of the year. It's a great time to consider a move in Las Vegas.
Growth continues in Downtown Summerlin with the opening of new restaurants and businesses in the area. There is a great energy there.
