There were a total of 2,253 Single Family, Condo’s and Townhouses closed in the month. (As of March 4, 2016)

The breakdown:

Re-sale:1,912, which is 85% of the market,
Short Sales: 162, which is only 7% of the market,
REO: 179, which is 8% of the market, significantly lower than in years past.

Financing Breakdown:

685 Cash Purchases,
747 Conventional Financing,
612 FHA Financing,
180 VA Financing Purchases.

Current Statistics:

8,692 Active homes for sale in Las Vegas,
6,346 Contingent /Pending (This is a hugs number!- It's a strong seller's market!)
4,513 Traditional Equity Sales (not Short Sales)
2,545 Homes sold last month (February 2016) in Las Vegas. The market is heating up!

Las Vegas Crime Stats Are Scary!

There has been an 80% increase in violent crime and homicides. Las Vegas Strip Crime is up. We know many of you, police officers, are considering mid-year retirements, which is typical; don't make an emotional decision based on being overworked and under appreciated. Make sure it is a good decision for you and your family. Remember, I am here for you and as a past Metro Officer myself, I know what retirement planning from the force is like.

With the 80% increase, we know that there are only 96 detectives back to patrol on a rotating basis as a saturation team now to try to curb violent crime. What happens to their cases? We need to stop this violent crime! Being short on officers is not the way to do it. We appreciate you and love what you do for our community. Please re-think retirement and give me a call before you make a decision.

We need more cops like you! Thank you Las Vegas Metro Police Department!

Centennial Hills Real Estate Market Update- With the best values in the valley homes are moving quickly! With 667 Active properties for sale, 583 are Contingent /Pending, with 416 of those not being Short Sales. That means it is only a 6 week inventory of available homes for sale in the area. 236 homes sold last month; demand is high. Next month sales may even double!

These numbers do not include the New Construction Developments currently available/ sold. There are many builders to choose from in the Skye Canyon area is you are considering new construction including  a new release of homes in Skye Canyon Master Planned Community this weekend. With many model homes to choose from resale is not your only option.
