President's Day Closures- Las Vegas 2016
There's nothing more frustrating on a day off than a day planned to run errands and take care of the necessary business you would otherwise have to squeeze into a work day, to realize President's Day, Monday, February 15th is not the best day to set aside for these important things. Most government businesses and some local businesses and doctors offices will be closed. Here is a basic list of what you can expect to be closed around the Las Vegas Valley. Federal, State, County, and Municipal offices will be closed. The NV DMV will be closed and you can count on the Clark county Court Systems, US Post office, Clark County Schools, and State and University Schools to be closed. Republic service will pick up trash as normal and NV Energy and Southwest Gas offices will be closed other than for emergency services. Some banks will be closed to be sure to call ahead or make sure you get your deposits in early. We encourage you to enjoy the day off and spend time with family and
loves ones. After-all- not only is it President's Day weekend- it's also
Valentine's Day weekend.
